Die Performances werden immer individuell auf Ansprüche und Absichten der Veranstaltungen zugeschnitten. Hier einige Beispiele: Einsatz von Projektionen, Einbindung der Gäste, Erzeugung von Klängen, Begleitung eines Menüs und nachhaltige Präsentation im Internet.

PIXEL-PAINTING Platons Höhle
Pixel-Painting mit der Variante „Platons Höhle” bietet die Möglichkeit, die Gäste mit in das Bild einzubeziehen! Die Teilnehmer werden gebeten in kleinen Gruppen vor die Malerei zu treten. Dort fordert der Maler sie auf, eine Bewegung, Gestik oder Stellung einzunehmen, die eine vorher definierte Tätigkeit oder Haltung symbolisiert. Durch einen Spot wird ein Schattenbild der Personengruppe auf der Leinwand erzeugt. Der Künstler malt die Umrisse der Schatten und bindet so alle Gäste und deren Haltungen in das große Gemälde mit ein. Am Ende der Veranstaltung werden die einzelnen Bildtafeln eingerahmt. Alle Tafeln sind handsigniert und mit einer fortlaufenden Editionsnummer versehen. Jedes einzelne Bild – eine abstrakte Komposition – steht und wirkt für sich. Alle Bilder gemeinsam ergeben ein gegenständliches Ganzes. Jeder Gast bekommt ein einzigartiges Gemälde.
PIXEL-PAINTING Platons cave
English: Pixel Painting is an art performance where an enormous canvas is painted live during a special event. The guests see how a painting comes alive during a certain time. At the end of the event the canvas is divided into single pieces, which will be signed and framed by the artist and every guest receives a part of the whole as a give away. Platon´s cave is one of several variations of the Pixel Painting performance. It offers the possibility to incorporate the guests into the painting. As an individual or as part of a group participants have to symbolize a typical gesture which is drawn by the artist Christof Breidenich as a silhouette on the canvas. In a double sense they all become part of the art, not least by getting a single framed artwork.

PIXEL-PAINTING Online
Im Nachhinein wird das Gemälde auf einer Intranet- oder Internetseite publiziert. Die Gäste erhalten die Möglichkeit jedes Pixel anzuklicken. Ein Pop-Up Fenster öffnet sich. Darin sieht man eine vergrößerte Version des Einzelbildes und den Namen des Besitzers.
English: After the event, a photograph of the entire painting is placed on an internet or intranet web page. Visitors may click on each individual Pixel. A new window pops up, showing an enlarged view of the corresponding part of the painting and the name of the owner.
